Carowinds, Savings and Theme Park Description for 2024

You’ll be surprised of how much you can do with your lazy days. A center of family fun, this hundreds of acre of  theme/water park features rides that thrill and live entertainment. This amusement park has it all, from 60 rides like Nickelodeon Central and Vortex, to events and live shows. At Carowinds, there are rides for everyone from thrill-seekers to families.  If speed and adventure are for you, there's our thrills like Intimidator and Nighthawk. Don't miss them.  If slower speeds are for you, the Family Rides like the Character Carousel or Woodstock's Express will be perfect.

Also part of the Carowinds is the Boomerang Bay Waterpark Resort and the famous "Scarowinds" event. Intimidator and Afterburn provide a very good 1-2 punch.  The grounds are attractive, and there are pretty decent offerings for kids (including a water park).
